Helping Ryan Rector's family in difficult times

Hello Everyone,

I am Amber; Ryan Rector's sister. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister in law Nikki Rector.

On Thursday March 21, 2024 Ryan was in a serious car accident. The car rolled and the roof was crushed into his skull. During this time he lost consciousness and a pulse. He was transferred by helicopter to UC Davis where they have been working hard to repair him.

His damage was very severe, he received spinal surgery upon arrival to the hospital, the doctors are confident that they repaired the spinal issue, but as the days have progressed his brain injury has become the bigger concern. The swelling has not gone down, and while Ryan is a fighter we need to start looking towards negative outcome if there isn't a miracle.

So thats why I'm here. Ryan is the sole breadwinner for his family. He has 7 boys, 4 of which are living at home with him and his wife Nikki. During this hard time there is a lot to think of, and a lot to do. I'm hoping to help Nikki a little by taking the financial pressure off of her so she can be with Ryan.

Any of you that know my brother know he's not perfect, and he's hard plenty of trials throughout his life, but he has always been there for anyone who needed him. He has so many friends that consider him family, and so much family that doesn't want to picture a day without him.

Ryan has been working so hard to turn his life around, he's been working hard, focusing on this love for the lord and providing for his family. He's always been a family man, even in the harder times of his life.

No one deserves to go through this, but unfortunately here we are. If you can share, donate or pray we would all be so appreciate.

I’m sorry to have to say this. But Ryan passed away yesterday 3/28/24 do this has now turned into a way to help pay for his funeral services. Thank you everyone for your love and support
