Helping send Katie to the USA to fight terminal cancer!

We are desperately asking for help as our daughter Katie Norman has been fighting the fight of her life for the last 3 years battling GIST cancer (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumour). Unfortunately for the last year she has been made aware she is currently in stage 4 and it has spread throughout her liver with 8 tumours and the largest being 8.4cms currently. She has been monitored closely with her team of doctors at the Tom Baker Centre and her Palliative team while trying every means possible of treatment. Even as of late she has been taking part in a clinical trial. Unfortunately treatment is failing her though and her body isn’t able to continue.

This has taken an enormous toll on her physically,mentally and emotionally in all aspects unimaginable. She hasn’t given up hope though and continues to look for other means for surgery and treatment elsewhere as this is such a rare cancer and has been given a opportunity to attend the Mayo Clinic and the Banner Medical Clinic in Arizona in hopes of surgery or other treatments that we just don’t have here in Canada to fight this terminal disease. That being said as it is out of Country this will come at a huge financial burden for her and our family that we just can’t do on our own. She will exhaust all financial options she can to try and make it happen and we are asking all family and friends to come together to make this wish come true for her. If we can collect any donations possible to go towards these huge cost our family would be beyond grateful as it will help save her life. Please again we ask for Everyone to come together to help save our daughter from this agonizing battle she has been fighting to save her life.
