Hi I am William Quinton, brother-in-law to Shannon Taylor.

In the early morning of Monday, March 21st, 2022, a fire broke out in the attic of Shannon and Donnie's rental unit. All members evacuated safely with minimal injuries. Unfortunately, the blaze stripped the family of their possessions, including a place to live.

The community has come together amazingly to support the family briefly as they recover from this terrible ordeal; with limitations on this support, we must plan for the longer short-term. With a modest goal of $20,000, it is hoped that this amount will cover first and last at a new rental (we know how insane rent is these days). As well as provide some residual for purchasing other miscellaneous items that the community could not replace, or they cannot keep when they move, or we all may have overlooked. Of course we all understand the hardships and difficult times being experienced by everyone given the state of things in the world today, but any amount, no matter how small will help and we humbly thank you for anything you can chip in. The family is expected to be housed for roughly two months (don't quote me on it, I have not heard the exact details), so its anticipated that locating a new residence should start ASAP. Administratively, any funds collected will exclusively be used to support the family for their needs and needs only.
