Helping Stacey heal…

As many of you know, my sister, Stacey Whalen Kyker, and her fiancé, Bryan Griffith were involved in a very serious car accident on Father’s Day. Stacey had to be cut out of her car and flown to Shock Trauma. She was treated for multiple broken bones including her clavicle, scapula, sternum, several ribs, and 4 vertebrae in her lower back. It will take a bit of time, but she will heal from these physical injuries. It’s the emotional injuries that will take much longer to heal because, unfortunately, Bryan was killed in the accident. He was the love of Stacey’s life, and I know he loved her dearly in return. To say she is devastated does not come close to how she is feeling, but I know she has an amazing group of family, friends, and co-workers that will care for her with the love and support she needs.

And that brings me to this GoFundMe page. Stacey is going to kill me for doing this, but because of her injuries, it’s going to be hard for her to cut hair any time soon. She has also incurred astronomical medical expenses, and I just don’t want to see her struggle financially while she heals from this physical and emotional nightmare.
