My name is Ramlo Mohamed; we are part of the Somali youth that lives in twin cities. As you know, over one million people are in severe need of water And food across Somalia. Since 2016, the lack of rain intensified the drought in the northern side of the country. Your donation will go directly to the people in need and the regions affected by the drought. I will be updating you on my facebook page, @Ramla Mohamed. I am a team member of Somali Care Foundation. On behalf of Somali Care Foundation, I want to tell you that your kind donation will go a long way in helping desperate families affected by the famine and have no one to turn to for help. How the money will be spent or where the money will go?
Your donations will enable us to buy food such as corn, grain, rice, bottles of water, and clothes from Local stores in Somalia, especially Mogadishu so we can also support local business who are also struggling since the famine was declared the beginning of this year in Somalia.
Also, we will divide the money into two parts; one of the donation will go to the southern part of Somalia, and the other part will go to the north of Somalia since these two areas affected. To deliver the aids effectively and timely manner, we are partnering with local there NGOs such as Caawi Walal and Somali Care Foundation and they will take the aide and disperse it to the families hit by the famine in IDP camps and the rural areas as well.
Somali Care Foundation is well respected and trusted organization in Minnesota and also in Somalia and has sent other aides and donations to Somalia in the past. They are registered here in the United States, and they located Minneapolis Minnesota, and they will deliver it as s soon as possible and they will make sure that all funds 100% reaches the needy people in Somalia.
