Helping Steve McEwan and his Croc Snappy
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kel and I am raising funds for Coffs Coast local legend Steve McEwan and his Crocodile Snappy. Steve has been a huge part of the Coffs Coast community and is best known as The Snake Catcher or The Mad Reptile Guy. Steve has been rescuing snakes and reptiles around the Coffs Coast for decades and of course, rescuing humans from standing on their dining table scared stiff while an Eastern Brown Snake sets up home under their fridge. Steve has been the guy everyone calls (as well as a Wires volunteer) to remove venomous and non-venomous snakes from in or around their homes. Steve also has been educating the community on Reptile safety and conservation from tiny toddlers to old Codgers in his Reptile Shows in daycare centres, Schools and other events or venues along the Coffs Coast. Steve finally opened Reptile World at the Big Banana as a permanent spot to further educate Locals and Tourists alike. After opening only months before the Pandemic, Steve has been unable to raise the funds to build a bigger enclosure, which is a requirement to keep his beloved fast-growing Crocodile Snappy who he has raised from a Hatchling. Reptile World provides an excellent opportunity to get a closer look at these amazing ancient creatures and access Steve's Wealth of knowledge and passion for reptile conservation and their importance to our ecosystem. Please help donate or share this gofundme page to help Steve keep Snappy the Crocodile as a Coffs local. Look I understand Snappy isn't very fluffy or a big hugger but I hope the community can rally behind Steve McEwan as he has always been there for the Community.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for your donations.
Please go and check out Reptile World at The Big Banana if you haven't yet.
