Helping Sue Ryder and Bradford Hospital Charities

Hello, my name is Martin and I have started this appeal in memory of my Wife Jean Dew who has recently died of Gall Bladder Cancer. When Jean initially fell poorly we were amazed at the kindness and care given by all of the people in the hospital.

Jean was diagnosed as having advanced Cancer and through the whole time she was poorly was positive and as normal, just made people smile.

When we had to discuss end of life care I was amazed to find that it was a ‘free service’ and was funded solely through charity.

Sadly Jean lost her battle but the overriding memory of how she was treated and cared for in those difficult times will stay with me and the family members forever.

In dedication to Jean and to make a contribution in her memory we are raising money for Sue Ryder and also the Bradford Hospital’s Charity which funds equipment and services within a number of sectors.

I hope you will donate to this appeal both in honour of Jean and as a contribution to keeping these worthy causes going.
