Our beloved friend Tara Shannon has recently experienced a number of health issues that have left her unable to work and with quickly rising debt. Right now she is quarantined at home with double pneumonia. Luckily her COVID-19 test results came back negative.
If you've ever spent time with Tara, you know first-hand that she is no stranger to adversity and one of the most unselfish souls you'll ever come to know. She shows up for her community and now it's time for us to show up for her.
Right now she seriously needs our love, support, and dollars. Whether it's $5 or $25, $250 or $2500, your direct support will give Tara the necessary time to heal.
As a terminal cancer survivor with a missing kidney, Tara has been through more than her share of health issues. But this most recent round, including experiencing a heart incident, and going through multiple foot surgeries over the past year, has put her way past her highest adversity threshold. Unable to work, and with mounting bills for medications and treatments, she is possibly seeing her lowest moment right now.

The funds raised will go directly into Tara's bank account to support her in paying for medical expenses, prescription costs, lost wages, and daily life-expenses including housing, utilities, and phone. Her prescriptions alone are now close to $800 a month.
