Helping Tasha McDonald on her road to recovery

Late February Tasha Mcdonald suffered from a heart attack. During that time, she was out for over 40 minutes with the paramedics and family members trying cpr. Just when the police officers arrived to notify her children she had passed away her heart started pumping again and they got a pulse. Since then, she has been in the hospital and had to have Tracheostomy/Gastric tube surgery to assist her breathing and eating.

It’s been 5 months and she is still under the full time care of nurses and doctors. They have told us we have a long road ahead for recovery and she will need to have long term care. As a family we are praying and believing God for a miracle.

Our family is trying and doing everything in our power to keep up, but we cannot do it on our own. Unfortunately when you’re not wealthy or born into wealth there isn’t many options. We have priced facilities for long term care and rehabilitation/therapy to assist in her recovery and it will cost from $4,000 to $7,000 per month.

Her life has no price. She is a mother of 7 children and grandmother of 5. She is a genuine, loving, compassionate, and a kind-hearted person who wanted to enjoy her life. Her smile, jokes and laugh would be sure to brighten up your day.

We are so grateful for those who have reached out during this time to show the love you have for her and how you've supported her through prayer. She is a fighter and has been showing so much strength. She really needs us and anything will help.
