Helping teacher Mel with cancer medical bills

Teacher Mel, our beloved Willow (preschool teacher) is about to undergo
treatment for stage 4 breast cancer. Mel is a single mom and needs her
community to show up for her. Medical co-pays are already through the roof and Mel has yet to start chemo.  Biopsy alone were $6k co-pays!

Mel has been our NE preschool teacher for 2 years but a teacher for over 20.
To know Mel is to live in a state of wonder, excitement, magic and curiosity.  Every day in 1000 different ways she ring leads a circus of child-led,  inquiry and play-based learning that blends Waldorf and Reggio and her own circus of wonder.  
The children of the Wow and Flutterville Willow class and in fact,
our whole playgarden and me, personally, all are exposed to daily joy infested energy and a rabbit hole of learning through play.

Please help support Mel's medical costs that her health insurance doesn't cover. 
We anticipate Mel's bills to be at least $18,000 and likely significantly more.  
Chemo, Surgery and radiation costs all loom as Teacher Mel's youngest
embarks on their first year of college.

There may be additional other needs but for now, the funds will help give 
Mel a bit of piece of mind.
