Helping the Brassard Family

Hi, this is Caitlyn’s sister and mother - fundraising for our very sick niece/granddaughter, Quinn, who is currently in the hospital.

Quinn and Layla were born prematurely and this is Quinn’s second time having to be in a children’s hospital, just in the short 3 months that she’s been alive. She is currently in the hospital with Meningitis, having seizures, a brain bleed and inflammation, and overall fighting for her life. She’s the strongest little girl we know.

Understandably so, they are struggling with finances, astronomical medical bills, a place to stay, meals, and going back and forth to be there for Layla, Quinn’s twin sister. We don't know how long she will be staying there. They are currently not able to work since the baby has been so sick. They don’t want to leave her in the hospital alone having seizures, being on tons of medications, and with her condition. She’s just a baby. The cost is getting hard for all of us, since we have her twin sister, Layla, staying with us 45 minutes away (most times longer with traffic). It’s very hard on Caitlyn and Derek to have Quinn and Layla so far away from each other and trying to be there for both their baby girls during this hard time.

This has been far from easy and funds are very low. The possibility of permanent damage is a constant fear. Anything to help them stay with their baby girl while she heals and gets the treatment she needs. Anything helps. Prayers are also always greatly appreciated. Prayers have made all the difference so far.
