Mark Fairley, our clubmate, team-mate was critically injured last Friday after an incident outside of a concert he attended with his wife Nicola. While we are unsure at this time of exactly what happened - he remains in a coma and in a critical condition. With Nicola at his bedside and Mark in hospital, they currently have no income to support their children and their home.
Mark has been a member of BARUFC since he was around 13 and despite a break, while serving in the Army - he returned to play and still plays when he can.
It's time for us to pull together and show our support by giving just a little to help make this tough time a little easier and enable Nicola to stay with Mark.
