Helping Lindsay's Family

Writing from Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in High Falls NY to our greater community.

This week, the world lost Lindsay Mikus, an incredible activist, mother, veterinarian, friend, and caregiver. Lindsay was goofy, warm, so smart, and had the best giggle. She was always ready to help anyone who needed her, human and nonhuman.

Lindsay was on the team at Woodstock Sanctuary since 2018 as a caregiver and vet and a member of the community for years before that. We are heartbroken and are going to miss her so much.

Her family, which includes her two children Avery and Julian, now have to deal with many unexpected bills while mourning the loss of Lindsay. We’d like to to help as much as we can encouraging gifts for Lindsay’s family to help with the financial burden in honor of the joy and justice she brought to the world.
