Helping the Gilbert family after a tragic loss

We are saddened and overwhelmed by the sudden illness and death of our brother-in-law Nathan. He suffered a stroke and heart failure while working at home and was airlifted across the bay, but despite heroic efforts at three hospitals, we have lost him. We are hoping that this gofundme effort will help offset the costs of medical, funeral and unforeseen expenses for his wife Anna and two children, Spencer and Mary Joy. Nathan was a true treasure: a gentle and kind presence, a great dad, and as those who know him will attest, a genius with an astonishingly creative sense of humor that lifted the spirits of anyone he came across.
