On April 1st 2021, our loving family member/father/son/grandfather/friend, James (Jimmy) Iler tragically lost his life after he called the police from home, distraught. To all of his loved ones, it was an obvious cry for help. Police shot him, and killed him in our yard. There is an investigation started by the Illinois State Police.

Jimmy was the hardest working man I've ever known. He worked full-time to provide for our family. He loved his family more than life itself. He leaves behind his 4 year old daughter, a son and stepson, and 3 grandchildren.
