Helping the Hamilton Family

Mrs. Brenda Hamilton was out for her daily morning walk on February 15, 2019 and was attacked by an unknown animal. She remained at Vidant Medial Center for 3 days and passed away on February 18, 2019. The world lost an incredible soul that day.
To describe this woman in full would be a difficult if not impossible task. She simply had too many good qualities to describe in one writing. She was unbelievably kind, extremely generous, completely selfless and so very sweet, gentle and humble. The influence she had on countless lives is simply immeasurable. She was unconditionally devoted to her Lord, her family, her church and her school. Mrs. Brenda Hamilton taught at Pungo Christian Academy for 51 years. She was the heart of PCA. Demonstrations of the love she had for her church, her students and fellow staff were abundant. Whether it be cooking some of the most delicious food you could ever eat to simply lending her limitless time to give you advice, encouragement, or a sweet reassurance, she showed every single person she knew that she cared about them deeply. You could feel the love she had in her huge hugs she gave everyone... she really meant her hugs! This woman was an angel to so many. Mrs. Hamilton was always there for each and every student who attended PCA and her dedication and encouragement have touched the hearts of those who knew her. For that we are all incredibly thankful.
If she loved us this way, you can only imagine how she loved her precious family. Her husband, daughters, nephew, grandchildren and great grandchild were blessed with this incredible woman as their wife, mama, grandma, aunt Brenda and "Maga". The love this woman had for her family was so apparent in the quality time she desired to spend with them and the way her eyes lit up when she talked about them. She simply could not get enough of each and every one of her family members. Their loss is as immense as the love she showed them and the love they have for her.
Her legacy will forever be in our hearts. A true servant to the Lord she set an example of how we should all love one another and serve Him.
We are seeking to raise money to help with the medical bills as well as loss of income to ease the financial burden on the family as they deal with this sudden and tragic loss. Any gift is greatly appreciated and will be a blessing to the family.
