Helping the Harkness’s

Hi, my name is Bootsie Holmes, The sister of Bob Harkness. In the wee hours of Sunday, June 25 Karen woke up to a severe storm. She looked out the window and saw a ball of fire. She then woke up Bob, who then went outside and noticed that the roof of their apartment complex was on fire. Bob immediately called the fire department and helped to notify their neighbors that the building was on fire. Everything in their unit was a complete loss. Including Karen’s 63 year old wedding ring set. With both of them being retired and caring for their son Johnny, they are on a tight budget. I’m asking our friends and family to rally around Bob, Karen, and Johnny to help get them off to a fresh start.
