Winters Kitchen community feed Flathead county MT

Edit We are in desperate need of your help to pay the parks and recreation fees attached to staying in depot park and feeding the homeless on Sundays ! The fees are $120 a week and will cost us just over $2700 to feed once a week until the end of April 2024 this will come with a dedicated 6hour block of time where anyone can come to the park to receive help or to give help without the consequences of fines or jail time! This will also include some use of power for our cockpits and warm plates! Please consider helping us help our homeless by sharing this go fund me with your friends and family and on any local site thank you for all the help and donations so far ! Hi, my name is Rebecca I started winter’s kitchen out of seeing a need and then seeing a group of people who wanted to give back! I am blessed to call the Flathead of Montana my home, and it’s community members my friends! Last year was such a wonderful coming together with one goal. Meeting basic human needs in our valley despite the backlash from our city council members! This year we are looking to do just the same meeting basic human needs! We prepare a meal that is warm on a day. There is no warm meals in the Flathead. We come together as a community to meet the needs of our homeless on the streets in the cold, where they are, and where they feel comfortable. We have been offered help with achieving nonprofit status, and will be working towards that, but as of today we are based strictly off of community donations, and coming together with whatever we can. Any, and all donations received from this go fund me will go to purchase things off of our Amazon wish list and then passed out to the community.
