Helping the Magora Family Who Have Lost Their Son
Donation protected
The Magora family, who have been valuable members of our Lunenburg community since immigrating from Zimbabwe in 2016, have unexpectedly and tragically lost their dear son Tashinga. They are in need of our support in covering funeral costs.
Tashinga was just 24 years old, living with his brother in Toronto, and was missing for 8 days when his family received news this past week that he was found deceased. With this being an ongoing investigation, Tashinga’s family is in Toronto awaiting further answers.
Tashinga’s father Thadeus (known to our community as “Teddy”), his mother Annah, sister Shamiso and brother Mcdonald are grieving their tremendous loss while making arrangements to bring him back home for funeral arrangements now in Lunenburg. The cost for this is $10,000 - adding significant stress and strain to a situation already far too difficult for any family to try and process.
Please help us, however you can, and show them the love they have shown our community by making any donation possible to lighten their burden during this time.
If you aren’t in a position to support them through monetary contribution, kind words or gestures when they return home will go along way in this time of need.
