PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM. GOOGLE ORDER FORM AT BOTTOM OF STORY.
Currently, in New York City, 2+ million residents face not having enough food to feed themselves and their families. That means roughly one in four New Yorkers, including children and seniors, face not having enough food. As more and more New Yorkers lose jobs/wages & schools stay closed due to COVID, the problem of hunger will keep getting worse.
I am fortunate enough to be able to eat at every meal of the day. I decided to contribute to the community, where I was born and raised, by starting a GoFundMe for Food Bank of New York City. I would like to help feed those in need. This project is also perfect to give back to the community and perform a mitzvah for my Bat Mitzvah project. A mitzvah is a good deed.
Please contribute what you can to help Food Bank of New York City meet the increased need for food.
For every donation, I will send you a shibori tanktop, t-shirt, or table runner made by me. Shibori is a Japanese tie-dye technique using índigo dye. 100% of your donation will go to the Food Bank of NYC, the city’s leading hunger-relief organization.
Please click on the Google form to submit your Shibori order after you have contributed.
