Helping the Pritchard Family

Many of you already know what this family is facing, but for those of you who may not this is their story. August 1st, Jessica had to be rushed into emergency surgery to try to unclog the arteries that were supplying blood to her foot. She had been in pain for a few weeks before doctors were able to figure out what was going on. To put it simply, her foot was beginning to die because of the lack of blood flow. After surgery she remained in the hospital for a week to determine if an amputation was needed. She was released from the hospital, but unfortunately on September 12th she had to undergo surgery to amputate three toes. Two out of three arteries supplying blood to her foot are clogged. This whole time Jessica has not been able to work, and the healing process is going to take months. She will be unable to return to work for what’s looking like months. They aren’t really sure at this time what was causing these arteries to become clogged, or how to fix it. Hopefully no further surgeries are needed, but there is still a long road to recovery. Dane is now the only income they have, and he’s trying to provide for himself, his wife and his 4 children. On top of going from a 2 person to a 1 person income, they have a lot of medical expenses now (hospital bills, home healthcare aids 3 days a week, seeing specialists- the list goes on). These people are the most giving and loving people I know, who do everything they can to help others. Now it’s time for us to help them out.
