Helping the Royal Oak Quorn after Flooding

Donation protected
Like many other businesses in Quorn (and surrounding villages), sadly the Royal Oak on the High Street has suffered flood damage.

The insurance will not pay out, and as you can see from photographs and videos the damage is pretty severe.

I reached out to Tony & Sophie, the owners, to ask if they’d be comfortable with me setting up a Go Fund Me where villagers / patrons can donate as they wish toward the refurbishment of this wonderful pub. With their permission, I am sharing this. They have zero expectation of help but I felt so strongly that we had to try and all do something to help; no matter how small!

The Cellar & its electrics are all completely ruined, along with furniture & flooring (inside and outside the pub) which they haven’t fully been able to assess yet.

Any funds will go directly to Tony, Sophie & The Royal Oak.

Please give generously if you are in a position to do so
