Helping the Sillmans with Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Heidi, I’m Nicole’s step sister. I’m raising funds for Nicole and her family in a time of need.

The night of July 17th, Nikki was at the gym lifting weights and got a sudden headache. She thought she might have pulled a muscle so she stayed home trying to find some sort of relief. She was unable to find any relief so her husband, tad, brought her to the emergency room to find out she had a brain bleed. She was air lifted to the U of M where they did more testing. They wanted to see if she had an aneurysm and if not, they wanted to find what was causing the brain bleed. (Her mom passed away at a young age from an aneurysm, so the thought it could be that was very scary.) thankfully they did not find an aneurysm, but they will be needing to repeat an angiogram in a month to make sure ones not hiding in the pooled blood. Testing so far has shown it’s a brain bleed that shouldn’t reoccur, and that no new blood is present and that it’s dissipating. During the angiogram Nicole had two small strokes which thankfully did not effect her. She is still in the hospital after a week, but is recovering pretty good. She still continues to have a lot of pain, and things that trigger pain in her head and lower back. They will keep Nicole until her pain is under control. The kids can’t wait to have their mom back at home!

With that being said, both Tad and Nicole are out of work and are going to be having a lot of medical bills along with getting behind on normal bills. I thought i would make a gofundme so family and friends could help nicole and her family in a time of need. Thoughts and prayers are also always appreciated.
