Helping the Sounds of Thunder Marching Band

The Thunder Club, a parent band booster organization is coming together to raise funds for the Sounds of Thunder Marching Band of Fayette , Mississippi. We are the dedicated parents of the outstanding musical program. As you know, our program is back up and running under the direction of Mr. Andrew McBride at the Jefferson County High School.
In the past few years, our students have been exposed to many opportunities throughout the state and country. It’s a blessing to see their talents highlighted nationally. With the exposure we’re getting are children are in need of financial assistance. This assistance will help enable the students to maintain uniforms, upkeep instruments, buy other instruments, provide meals, aid in traveling to competitions and other opportunities.
The students perform at school convocations, pep rallies, football games, basketball games, parades and Battle of Bands. Also, the students are giving back to the community by attending and participating in our local churches. Recently, S.O.T. made history by being featured at Alcorn State University football game against Prairie View. Our students have come a long way in achieving success.
This year our students have opportunities for some great events. Those events are coming in steadily.
In order for our children to attend these events we need help from the community and supporters.
The funds raised will be used for maintaining band equipment, providing meals, traveling, lodging and other expenses for band members.
We ask that you give your desired donation so, that we can continue to support our kids. Our goal is to help motivate them to become successful individuals.
Remember that music heals the soul and we can testify that are students have broken barriers in music education.
