Helping the Szeliga Family With Medical Expenses

Hi,

I started this go fund me for my friends family. His 12 year old daughter was struck by a vehicle in Pottsville, PA. The vehicle fled the scene and the driver has yet to be found.

Anyone who knows the Szeliga family or has ever seen Tom play guitar for The Boys Upstairs. You know they are always there to help a friend in need. A great listening ear. A heart of gold ❤ I always love how our community rallies around one another in times of need and tragedy. This time is no different.

We are asking for donations that the Szeliga family can use where ever needed. Medical Expenses, lodging near the hospital to be close to their daughter, food, bills, a toy to make their daughter smile. Anything and everything they could possibly need. Just to help them through this time of need.

Update From the father Tom Szeliga. Posted on October 31st, 2021 follows...

"Charlie is off the ventilator and breathing on her own. She's talking and still a first-class smartass. She has a broken clavicle, cracked ribs, a few missing teeth, all kinds of scrapes and bruises, and a liver laceration but nothing needs further surgery. She's stable and improving by the hour. We have a long road to recovery and no timeline for when she can be released yet but the worst of this seems to be behind us now. The staff here has been wonderful and I don't think we could ask for any better care."

"Also as far as we know the driver/vehicle that hit her has not been located so if anyone has any information at all please contact the Pottsville PD. Her health is obviously most important but finding the driver is also a goal."
