Hi! My name is Meranda and I’m trying to fundraise some money for one of my best friends Alyssa. A week ago alyssa got into a awful car accident while she was seven months pregnant with her son Jude. She went to the hospital and found out her placenta detaching. Alyssa was immediately rushed into an emergency C-section, because of how fast her placenta was detaching she didn’t receive any pain medication. Once the baby was born he was flown directly to Cardinal Glennon Childrens hospital and was taken to the NICU so he could receive the proper help needed. Both Alyssa and Jude almost died twice during this experience. Thankfully the doctors and the nurses took very good care of her and helped her to make the best recovery possible.

Alyssa and her mom Heather we’re expecting to still have an extra two months to plan and get everything ready for baby Jude. They didn’t have time for a baby shower because of this accident, so they do not have a lot of the things they still need. It would mean the world to them to raise money to support Alyssa and her precious baby.
