Help to educate and feed the children in Kenya

Hi, my name is Damian. I’m in the picture above with my personal friend David, who is a 4th year medical student. His family runs Amson Education Centre in the heart of the Mathare slums, Nairobi, Kenya. Many of the children are orphans and all are desperately impoverished.

There are 200,000 primary school aged children living in Mathare. Those who are lucky enough to receive an education do so from one of 75 community schools, none of which receive government support. Amson is one of these community schools.

Amson provides education and food to 281 extremely needy children, providing them with sustenance and a safe place each day, and the hope of a brighter future ahead.

All funds raised will go directly to the school and will support all areas of education and food provision. Every contribution will be acknowledged.

This is an incredibly worthy cause, and any contribution, no matter how small, will make a genuine difference.
