**Update 5-15-2021**
Jason has made it home!!! He was welcomed home with family surrounding him on April 16th 2021!!! Though he still has a long way to go, we will never give up!!! Right now one of our biggest setbacks is, that due to the size of Jason and having to have a specialized wheelchair made to fit him. We are not able to transport him anywhere in our current vehicle. We have searched every option we could possile think of, but the only solution we are coming down to is that we are going to have to purchase a wheelchair accessible van for him to be able to get out of the house! Again anything is appreciated and if anyone has any information that can help us on this topic, we are all for it!!! We are very overwhelmed by everyone that has already reached out to help us and can only pray God will allow for us to pay it forward when it's our time. Again Thank You ALL from the bottom of our hearts!!

**On February 24th, 2021 Jason Lanning walked into the hospital for an operation that was to repair his severely anrismal Thoracic and Abdominal Aorta. For those who maybe unfamiliar with what that is, it is the main artery that leads from the heart supplying blood to all of his major organs and lower body.  Without the surgery it would of lead to him passing away. During Jason's operation complications occurred that caused a stroke in his spinal cord. Thus leaving Jason to become paralyzed from the waist down.
Currently Jason is in a rehabilitation facility not only healing from this massive operation, but also working with specialized medical professionals. They are working around the clock with him to teach him the basic skills on how to live his life as a paraplegic. Anyone who knows Jason, knows he is a very large fella to say the least! So they have brought in special people to custom build a motorized wheelchair that he can fit.
With all of this unforeseen circumstances, Jason and our family have been left to find a new place to live. Our current home is NOT  suitable for his needs and there is no amount of work that could be done to it that would turn it into what he needs. If I am unable to provide the resources needed to accommodate my husbands conditions, he will not be able to come home to his family!
After much consideration and endless conversations on what Jason and I are to do, we have relentlessly resorted to reach out for help. In a million years I never would have pictured myself having to do something like this, but I love my husband with everything in me and will do what ever I can to bring him back to his family where he belongs! It has been a true struggle for Jason and I over this last year, but some how we had managed to keep our heads a float until now. Without him having insurance for over 2 yrs and still having to pay for all his medical expenses and medications, other things were pushed aside and have now stacked up. Not only will we be needing a new home to live in, we will also have to look for a vehicle that will accommodate his new motorized wheelchair. I know God has a plan for all of this, but I also know it doesn't just come to those sitting there waiting on it's arrival! We also know a little boy who wants his daddy back home as soon as possible! So with our hearts full and graditude to be given, we Thank You All!!!
