Helping to raise funds for a special family

We, Annmarie's friends have decided to set up this page after the rather sudden and unexpected diagnosis of her husband Simon with Grade 4 Unmethylated Glioblastoma earlier this year. It is the most aggressive form of brain tumour in adults and unfortunately it is currently untreatable. He is currently undergoing a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy in order to prolong the time he has with his family. Simon is an extremely caring person with a heart of gold.  Since the shock of his diagnosis, this is taking its toll on the household in terms of loss of income, coupled with week to week costs of travel (currently 2 round trips of 200 miles per week) Simon’s treatment and family household costs quickly build up so we have decided to set up this page to help Simon, Annmarie and their family have the best Christmas ever. They have a young son age 6 as well as two teenage children who Christmas is still really really magical for, as this could be Simon's last one.   Would like to make Christmas 2019  as  memorable as possible for the whole family as even the teenagers like Christmas. If we are able to surpass our goal this is what we would aim to spend it on:  to raise enough to take the family to UK Lapland to make everlasting memories especially for their young son.  We thankyou for reading, Bethany, Linda & Ann
