Donation protected
Hello my name is Tonia. Those of you that know me know that I don't ask for much I'd rather help somebody than to receive help. In March of 2021 I was admitted into the hospital with an ulcer in my right foot. I ended up having three major surgeries on that foot had went through it all and was released from the doctor in November was ready to take on The world had a great Outlook. In December foot got infected again well I was put on an antibiotic and was told you know just to let that work went through the holidays and went to see some grandchildren for New years while we were gone the right foot slow tremendously and busted open then the left foot started swelling on the big toe and in the ankle on January 11th I was admitted into the hospital in Lexington. I was told that night that I would lose both my feet I was okay with that but as they removed the feet they realize they had to go higher I ended up losing both my legs and became a double amputee above the knee. I was really from the hospital on January 30th coming home. No one tells you how you have to struggle to learn things again. But I'm here to tell you something else I'm starting this because for a year I was in a boot and unable to do things now I'm looking at 170,000 medical bill not to mention having to redo my house all the work I missed rent that has not been paid like Bill that has not been paid and equipment that I'm going to need I'm not asking for him now that so many people have asked what they could do to help this would help. And please even if you can't help financially please keep me in your prayers and my family we still have a long road to go. Thank you.
