Helping Tragedy Stricken Donald Baer

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

Today, with a heavy heart, I reach out to you to share my heartbreaking story. On the eve of July 3rd, tragedy struck my life when a fire, caused by an early morning firework accident, completely destroyed my cherished home. To compound the pain, I am currently battling cancer and undergoing treatment, making this loss even more devastating.

The fire consumed my house, leaving behind only ashes and memories. Precious family heirlooms, my collection of 700 signed books, clothes, and everything I held dear vanished in an instant. My wife, Danny, lost her entire Disney and ceramic collections. The emotional toll of losing cherished possessions and the security of a home is immeasurable, especially for someone already fighting a life-threatening illness.
