Hurricane Disaster Response Relief Survivors Today
Donation protected
If your communication with a loved one has ever been cut off due to a natural disaster or emergency, you know the feeling of panic, dread and uncertainty that can turn lives upside down. #findalovedone
Hurricanes, earthquakes, typhoons, etc. can leave lasting scars on town, cities and entire states. And for survivors and their loved ones, an anxiety level from the fear of not knowing or not letting loved ones know about the welfare of the survivor.
Here’s what we’re looking to accomplish.
N2NGO exists to connect families affected by natural disasters with their loved ones. Using satellite communications, we bring our mobile units to areas affected by disasters and provide survivors access to our systems so they can call, text, or email their families and loved ones. We don't do this from a central location like others, we go block by block, town by town, so everyone in our reach gets a chance.
We are currently fundraising to equip our first responder group with the necessary equipment to cover the USA. This equipment consists of a dedicated response vehicle to house all our equipment and the team while on deployment. The satellite infrastructure to best serve survivors and all the smaller but necessary parts to make each response a safe and successful one.

Carlos Chiossone founded N2NGO after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico. While living in NYC, he encountered dozens of people who were desperate to be able to speak to their loved ones. Because of the lack of cellular connectivity and electricity, people on the island were cut off from the rest of the world. Carlos, a licensed Amateur (ham) Radio operator, went to the roof of his NYC apartment building and was able to hear a KP4 station from Aguadillas, Puerto Rico. He began receiving messages from PR to pass to their families on the mainland. Carlos was able to connect 424 families in 10 days.
Here’s How Our Team Is Going To Help Natural Disaster Victims Around The World:
⦁ By using satellite phones and internet access, we’ll have the capacity to connect thousands of natural disaster survivors with their loved ones via text and email whether in the continental US or abroad
⦁ We’ll relocate to the site of the disaster, so we can get boots on the ground and help as many people as we can, as quickly as possible
⦁ Our team will be trained in Psychological First Aid to better assist survivors as they are using our services
⦁ Unlike other NGOs that just offer something similar but at their tent locations, we will move from block to block, town to town, reaching as many people as we can
⦁ Having a way to communicate on the road will also allow us to send messages to partnering NGOs about people having specific needs, medical, structural, etc.
It’s our mission to personally bring communication technology to these affected people.

Thank You For Supporting N2NGO’s Relief Efforts!
We are fully funded by donations, so there is zero cost to the individuals that need our help. Our primary goal is to help survivors one town at a time, alleviating the anxiety and uncertainty that people face following a disaster.
