Helping Hands, Helping Hearts

We are a group of 8 individuals from different communities who have come together in a setting of creation and community to make a difference in the world. We believe the smallest act of kindness and compassion can truly create a wave of positivity and inspire others around to brighten their world a little bit at a time. We are wanting to start a wave by showing dignity and kindness to homeless people. We are all human and we all have a beating heart that desires the most basic needs: acknowledgement and respect.

With the frigid winter fast approaching, we’re collecting funds to put together “Bundles of Hope”, wool socks/toques/mittens filled with some necessities such as:

-Hand/Foot Warmers

-Lip balms

-Toothbrush/Toothpaste

-Comb/Brush

-Shampoo/Soap

-Razors/Shaving cream

-Sanitary products

-Kleenex

-Tea/Hot Chocolate packet

We will be distributing these bundles, each stuffed with an encouraging note to homeless people around the Edmonton Area on October 27th. We are contributing to this project ourselves however your support would mean so much to us and to the lives we can positively impact, increasing greatly the amount of people we can reach and thus, the size of the kindness wave.

Any monetary donation is appreciated and will be used exclusively to purchase the items needed for Bundles of Hope.

Aside from monetary donations, we could collect donations of those items should you be able to contribute in that manner. Additionally, we would be open to connecting with people who could help us get discounts on bulk purchases.
