Hi, my name is Laniya White, I’m from the I’m a S.T.A.R Foundation. S.T.A.R.S stands for Smart Talented And Resilient Students, and we are located in Jacksonville, Florida. The organization is ran by Mrs. Betty Burney.
We at the I’m a Star Foundation help homeless students get the materials they need to have a better education. Our latest goal is our Jacksonville H.E.L.P.S. (Homeless students Empowered through Leadership Partnership and Service). Do you know we have more than 3,000 homeless students here in Duval County? We would like to change 3000 to 0 with your help.
I am asking for you to please give. We aren’t doing this for us we are doing it to make a difference in our community. With our help, homeless students can become the scientist that can cure cancer.
Have a blessed day
Thank you for taking time to read this letter
