Pull Together for Kathleen!
Donation protected
Meet Ms. Kathleen. Kathleen is a loving, local woman in Hickory Creek who really needs our help. Kathleen is over seventy years old, and has many issues with her home that she is unable to handle herself. After calling the town in regards to her trash service, one of our friends at Helping Hands visited with Kathleen and she told them that over five years ago, she was pushed unto the purchase of a house with many problems she has had to deal with over the past few years. As our friend saw for himself, her living arrangements are very tough right now. That’s when we decided to step in and help Kathleen out!
Even though Kathleen is over seventy years old, she is extremely tough! She does her own yard work, when physically able, and teaches art in the house, which is getting less and less with her physical abilities. She pushes herself to do what she can, but she still needs the help of her community.
Some of the issues that she needs fixed at her home are the gutters, which are partially ripped off, the flooring, which is the most important, and if we raise enough money, we would love to get her a working refrigerator. Income for Kathleen is very limited, so donations of any amount truly make a big difference. Whether it’s a five dollar donation, or a hundred dollar donation, Kathleen is getting help she really needs!
At Mark Tucker Insurance we stand up to help those in need in our community. We hate to see a wonderful woman like Kathleen live under these conditions, so we are asking our loyal clients, friends and family to join us in supporting the efforts to fix her home and buy her a refrigerator that works.
Please spread the word to your friends and family as well!
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”
Sincerely,
Mark Tucker
