Joy's Story
Joy and her family have endured more loss in the past 5 years than most will ever face in their lives.
5 years ago, her brother Jon Tumilson (JT), was killed in combat. 3.5 years ago, her husband Scott died from cancer (and she is still paying off the medical bills). 2 years ago her mother died from a brain tumor. And just a few days ago, her father passed away unexpectedly.
Joy faces single-motherhood without her closest family members. She is on her own and my heart breaks for her and her 3 daughters.
What the funds will go towards:
Joy is in urgent need of our support in the wake of this loss to help her finish paying the medical bills from her husband's cancer treatments. I hope we can also ease the burden that comes with raising 3 children on your own during this unimaginable loss.
