Help a Single Mom Fight Cancer

Kari was just diagnosed with an aggressive and invasive breast cancer that has moved into her lymph nodes. She is starting her first round of chemotherapy and surgeries in the next few weeks.

Kari is a wonderful and caring sister, daughter and single mom to a creative and sweet 8 year old.  They live in the Seattle suburbs, where they love to watch movies together and create stories about an ever growing collection of Beanie Boos. Until recently, they have both been excited to dance together in a local production of the Nutcracker.  Kari is such a devoted and loving mommy! 

That's why we are asking you for help. The costs of treatment and other living expenses for her and her little one are much greater than she can cover, especially during the holidays as she begins to take off work and manage the pain of these treatments. No one can pick up the slack if she falls behind, as her daughter's father passed away last November from a sudden heart attack.

For those of you with children, imagine being a single parent, faced with news like this.
