Help Street Kids in Ethiopia

Design a working place to Kids who work on the streets of Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.

My name is Dawite Ewnetu, and I am a student attending George Mason University. I am reaching out to everyone in order to request donations to help support kids in Africa. I will be personally traveling to Ethiopia this summer for 10 weeks, and I would like to make a worthy contribution during my time there. Therefore, I have a proposal to make.

 

I am trying to help construct shelters for kids who make a living mainly through cleaning shoes of others. During the daytime, these shelters will be used for business purposes, and in the evening, it will provide shelter for kids who are currently living on the streets.

 

Also, I am seeking to collect clothes. If you have any old clothes in the back of your closet that you would like to donate, please message me on Facebook. My name can be found publicly as: Dawite Ewnetu. Then, we can coordinate the pick up time and location accordingly.

 

This project will be well implemented, and very interactive. Those who are financially involved in this project will be receiving weekly reports as to how things are developing, pictures, letters from the kids, etc.  I can’t do this alone. Therefore, I need the help of the community to betterment this project.

 

Personally, I am from a third world country. As a child, I went through many challenges. Hence, I would like to help ease the pain of children, and the African society advance their lifestyle.
