Help Kim Conquer Cancer
My mother was recently diagnosed with stage 3 Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma. In order to receive the radiation therapy needed to save her life she will have to drive to Marianna & back (a 3 hour round-trip) since her insurance isn't accepted by any specialists locally. She is unable to work while undergoing chemo and radiation, as she will be very sick/weak as a result of these treatments. I am living with her to provide care and support for her and my 9 year old brother, in addition to my 2 children. As of right now, we have no idea how we are going to pay for these trips to get her to the radiation treatments; which is how I ended up here. Recently, I have watched my mom, the strongest & most independent woman I have ever known, lose everything. Over the last four years, she has endured the deaths of her mother, her father, her first born child, her husband, my father, her brother, her sister-in-law, her niece, her son-in-law, her best friend, and her dog of more than ten years. To top it off, during this same time, her home burnt down, and she lost all of her possessions and belongings. She has had to start over so many times, yet she has got back on her feet, dusted herself off, kept moving forward, & never gave up. Now I am witnessing this remarkably resilient woman being forced to fight again...only this time, it's for her life. After all she has lost, after fighting for so long...I am afraid she is losing faith. Please... If you can contribute and help pay for these trips, as well as other costs she will incur while fighting this terrible disease, I am begging you to do so. I have prayed to God incessantly for a blessing since the day we found out, and I have faith that he will provide. Please help me restore my mother's faith, help me save her life. We greatly appreciate anything you are able to help with. I beg of you.. DONATE if you are able to do so. SHARE if you are unable to donate. PRAY for us either way. No matter what... HUG the ones you love - today! Tomorrow is never a promise.
