Help LGTBIQ community in Malawi

Hi folks, how are you doing?
A couple months ago, Emory and her partner faced society’s backlash for being a lesbian couple. It got worse when her parents found out, disowned her and she was fired from work. She also was almost killed by a mob and she even thought about suicide.
Akeii saved her. He gave her accomodation and money to survive until she can find a job and be economically stable. Akeii is a trans men and has been working with LGTBIQ+ community for years in Malawi.
Homosexuality is not understood in Malawi and even less transsexuality, in a country where to be LGTBIQ+ is still not legal. LGTBIQ+ people are persecuted daily with little help or no help available.
After firsts online contacts, I met Emory and Akeii in person last week. They explained me the cruel reality the LGTBIQ+ community of Malawi is living and the urgent need of creating a safe space for them, among others. So here we are, asking for your help. We would like to form an NGO for LGTBIQ+ rights in Malawi with the following objectives:
1. Have a safe space where we can give accommodation for urgent needs.
2. Help in job searching.
3. Psychological assistance.
4. Legal assistance.
5. Give visibility to LGTBIQ+ community in Malawi.
6. Organize different activities.
7. Write annual reports about LGTBIQ+ situation in Malawi.
8. Etc.
The idea is in the near future is to open a small business where we will prioritize the hiring of LGTBIQ+ people and will fund the social activities of the NGO mentioned above.
We know is not the best time to ask for money, a lot of people have lost their jobs and are also suffering because of de COVID-19. But, if you can, and of course if you want to help us, we are pretty sure the LGTBIQ+ community in Malawi will appreciate it.
