Let's Help Louise Austin Beat Skin Cancer!

Hello Family & Friends,

Tragically our wonderful and loving mother has been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in her right leg. Louise is a grandmother of five beautiful kids, mother of three, and a cherished friend of so many more. Currently she is unable to walk but so far treatment is going well. Louise has always been a very healthy minded individual, which helps immensely, we believe, for her outcome. We are very fortunate to have a great oncologist and many fantastic medical experts to help her get her back to health and on her feet again soon!

Update 10/15:

She is currently going Immunotherapy therapy, a relatively new therapy that kills the the cancer by inhibition of negative immune regulation. So far treatment is going well though is very exhausting, which is to be expected. She is on a cocktail of medications to keep her lymph activity under control and medications to combat possible side effects. She will be receiving this treatment for 4+ months.

All proceeds will go directly to food, living and medical expenses, transportation needs, medical supplies and extra care as she needs special assistance and is not mobile on her own as of this update.
