Help Rebuild “Love Jewels” After Devastating Robbery
Donation protected
Q is a proud Jewish Persian immigrant who came to America after fleeing Iran, determined to build a better life for his family. For over 20 years, he poured his heart, soul, and every dollar back into Love Jewels, his small jewelry store in downtown Los Angeles. Through hard work and grit, he grew the business to its peak just six months ago — a true American Dream in action.
Then, it was all stolen.
On Sunday night, April 13, 2025, a highly sophisticated group of thieves broke into the store and wiped out everything. They left him with just $30 in the register. Millions of dollars in inventory — his entire livelihood — gone in minutes. No insurance. No backup. No safety net.
But let’s be clear: Q didn’t choose to go uninsured. He was forced into that position by a system that has abandoned small businesses — especially in California. In recent years, insurance companies have been fleeing the state or pricing coverage so outrageously high that it's simply unaffordable, particularly for high-risk businesses like jewelry stores. California’s policies have made it nearly impossible for hardworking entrepreneurs like Q to protect themselves.
This is not the first time either. Back in 2011, Q survived a similar robbery. And after years of rebuilding, he was finally back on his feet — until now.
He didn’t ask for this GoFundMe. In fact, he didn’t want it. But the reality is, he needs support. He needs a moment to breathe, to care for his wife and two children, and to find a path forward. He’s lost everything — except his hope.
Q is a father, a husband, a proud business owner, and a pillar of his community. Let’s help him rebuild Love Jewels and restore the dream he’s worked so hard to create.
Thank you for your prayers, your messages, and your support during this painful time.
