Help me stay in college at Syracuse

I absolutely love attending Syracuse University, where I'm studying history, political science, and astrophysics. But just two months after I got here, my mom and I are facing imminent homelessness with nowhere to go.
In August, my mom and I took a great leap of faith and moved from Florida to Syracuse on a shoestring budget so I could go to college and my mom could hopefully get the surgeries that she needs for her back. I already I feel at home here. But moving to Syracuse was only part of the incredible hurdle I and my family have had to overcome.
We've relied on savings and the generosity of others to make it this far, but with my mom needing surgeries and living in severe pain (on top of falling three days after we moved to Syracuse, from which she's not recovered) and me being a full-time student, it has not been possible for either of us to work. All the progress my mom and I have made is in danger of being undone, because as it stands right now it isn't possible for us to make it through the next month, let alone winter, and being homeless would crush any hopes my mom has of recovery and my ability to continue going to college.
I am asking for help for my mom, myself, and my dog, Seger. I can't imagine my mom not being here for me when I need someone to talk to or Seger jumping on me every time I get home after walking from campus. I'm pleading out of the bottom of my heart for help from the kindness of others so that we as a family can have a chance to make it.
I am hoping to raise $3,000, which will be used to pay the next month's rent, keep basic utilities on, and hopefully stabilize the situation until I solidify a reliable source of income, which I am actively seeking to do.
To anyone who donates, shares, or otherwise contributes to my campaign, thank you. Not only will you be helping me, but you'll be helping my mom who deserves to get the care she needs to live a better life and my dog who should never have to see me or my mom worry.
