Help MT & Nancy Helton

MT Helton has been the host of Kick Butt Coffee's Open Mic for years.  He & his wife Nancy have the lively, positive spirit that is contagious and makes us feel welcome and at home in the KBC Open Mic Family. 

Unfortunately, on Friday, January 22nd, MT suffered a heart attack which caused a stroke that same day.  He was sick with pneumonia at the time, so the initial signs were discounted as symptoms of pneumonia. 

MT is making a good recovery considering the circumstances, however the impending financial burden is well underway, with the loss of work, medical bills for the emergency procedures, and an undetermined amount of speech therapy. 

Your contribution will help keep them with a home and basic needs during this difficult time. 

We know how much MT loves what he does.  Being a host, it is crippling to lose one's speech, but this is what happened.  MT and Nancy both work other jobs to pay the bills, and that income has been paused for the time being.  Let us help them get through it!
