Northwestern Myanmar has triggered heavy flooding, leaving nine people dead and affecting 70,000 others.
12,000 houses have been damaged and schools forced to close. The region registered a 24-hour rainfall of 7.8 inches (20 centimeters), the highest in 24 years, according to The Myanmar Ahlin newspaper. People are suffering not only from losing their homes but they can't go any where else due to lack of transportation. Bridges been destory in some area. Please help support Myanmar. Even 1 dollar can make a difference at this point. The rain has not stop yet and more people are suffering. It is only getting worst.
