About Nathan:
Those of you that know Nathan know that he is a hardworking and strong willed individual. He is a full time A+ scholarship student at Longview Community College with plans of pursuing engineering. While in school, Nathan is also doing what he loves most, working on cars, as a full time auto mechanic for Overland Park Volvo. He is responsible and committed to his goals and, at just 19 years old, Nathan has been able to purchase his first home. When he is not at school or work, you can usually find him working on his car or riding his motorcycle with friends. Nathan is the best kind of friend to have, he is kindhearted, full of humor, and never hesitates to help others.

The accident:
On Sunday July 17th at around 1a.m., Nathan was headed home from a ride with friends when he wrecked his motorcycle. He was rushed to the North Kansas City Hospital Emergency room where he is being treated for many injuries including a cracked skull; broken femur, knee cap, collar bone; fractured jaw and many broken bones around his left eye. He also incurred severe road-rash and doctors found bleeding in his brain and abdomen. A craniotomy was performed to allow room for his brain to swell and Nathan underwent orthopedic surgery on his femur. He is currently awake and doing well, however, he will have a long road to recovery. We created this GoFundMe to help relieve Nathan of the stress of medical bills (including brain surgeries, orthopedic surgery, brain rehabilitation, physical therapy, and speech pathology) and his regular expenses i.e. house payment, utilities, phone, insurance etc., over the next several weeks while he is recovering.

Thank you:
Along with monetary donations, we love to hear that people are praying for Nathan and sending love and positive vibes his way. We would like to thank all of you in advance for your donations and support during this difficult time.
