To My Dear Companions…
Even the smallest act of kindness can make a tremendous difference.
My name is Osama Abukarsh, a young man from Gaza and a Business Administration graduate. After knocking on every door and finding none open, I am left with only these words—written from the depths of my heart, in the hope they might reach yours. This is my final plea to help save my family—a last effort to reach for life in the midst of this nightmare.
I beg you, please don’t leave us alone in this darkness.

Our Story…
We once lived peacefully in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in northern Gaza—myself and my family of nine. But in mid-October, everything collapsed. We were forced to evacuate and became displaced, again and again, desperately seeking safety that we never found.
We fled our home to a UNRWA school in the Maghazi refugee camp. Then we moved to a remote area in Al-Zawaida, but even there, fire followed us. We had to escape again after a tank shell struck the area.
We ran under the roar of bombs, leaving behind everything—our home, memories, clothes, photos, and dreams left unfinished.
Now, we are living under unbearable conditions in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza. No food. No clean water. No electricity. No sense of safety. Our children sleep on the ground—hungry and afraid.
On our way to Rafah in search of shelter, we received the devastating news: our home had been completely destroyed in an airstrike. All that’s left is ashes—just like more than 70% of families in Gaza who have lost everything.
Our small family business—our only source of income—was also destroyed.

On the way to Rafah, seeking shelter, we received the devastating news that our home – a place built with hard work and love – had been destroyed in an airstrike. Our aspirations for a peaceful life were shattered, just as they were for more than 70% of households in Gaza. To add to our hardship, our small family business was alsoI want to assure you that the donations you provided have not been in vain but have been widely used to meet our basic needs and provide the necessary comfort in these difficult circumstances.
Thanks to God and your generous assistance, we have managed to overcome some of the hardships and challenges we have faced.
These are three of my sisters who were displaced alone four times without a safe shelter..

Now, my family is living in the central Gaza Strip in Dir Al-Balah, facing unbearable conditions. We lack necessities such as food, water, and electricity, and with Israel’s declared intention to invade Rafah, our ability to escape Gaza is almost impossible.

How You Can Help
Your donations will go directly toward meeting our most urgent needs:
- Drinking water and water for daily use
- Food for the children and our family
- Cooking gas or any safe method to prepare food
- A tent or shelter to protect us from the cold and danger
- Most importantly: To help secure the cost of safe evacuation through the Rafah border crossing

The Humanitarian Situation in Gaza
Today, Gaza is described as “hell on earth” by the International Committee of the Red Cross. They have warned that supplies in their field hospital will run out within two weeks.
The United Nations has confirmed that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is likely the worst since the beginning of the war. It has now been over a month and a half since any aid was allowed to enter through the crossings—the longest blockade to date.
( A Plea from the Heart)
I know the world is full of pain, but what we’re enduring in Gaza is beyond words. We are trapped under siege, bombing, and daily death. Every donation—no matter how small—is a beacon of hope for us. Your support could mean the difference between life and death for my family.
