Help Robbie's Family While He Fights For His Life

Donation protected

The Background
The day before Thanksgiving 2020, Robbie Werner (47) collapsed. EMS came after his wife Kristene gave
him CPR. The hospital released him the same day.

In January 2021, Robbie had a seizure so bad he was put in a medically induced coma. Today he is having daily seizures despite medication and has had severe memory loss. He recently returned home after a 10 day hospital stay.

The doctors have not been able to figure out what is wrong with him.

What The Money Is For
It's never easy to ask for help, but in addition to the mounting medical bills, Kristine and Robbie previously made a living helping people who were facing foreclosure. When the courts closed, so did their business.
And of course, right now the car needs repairs.

When Robbie met Kristene, he worked hard to be the best stepfather he could be to her kids. He takes the kids to little league, helps with homework, and took them on their first trip to Universal Studios. He loves to take them fishing, and he loves his wife deeply. He is their rock.  This is a good man who would give you the shirt off his back and volunteers to help men in family courts. Right now, neither he nor Kristene are able to work.

In addition to all these circumstances, the family is faced with the awful prospect of what to do in case
Robbie doesn't make it. Despite it being against their religious beliefs, he is now talking about cremation
instead of burial because it is all they can afford.

$5,000 will make a dent and take just a little pressure off this family in great need. Please put yourself in their shoes. Give what you are able, and please share this fundraiser. Thank you for your support. Edited to add: We all know that $5,000 isn't going to even cover medical bills never mind other urgent expenses. This family could really use $20,000 at least under the circumstances. But getting contributions for something like this is at best unpredictable. We wanted to be reasonable, realistic, and above all, grateful for your support. Times are tough for everyone, and we appreciate your kindness. At this time we have raised the goal to $10,000, and if we are so blessed as to be that successful, we will raise it again. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
