Hi me Giovanna and Max friends of Sophia Fantinato for a very long time and we are here to ask for help and Solidarity.

This foundraising is to the Mom of Sophie to be able to fly as soon as possible to Italy to deal with her body that’s at the hospital. Sophia Moms is a simple worker she can’t afford the expenses. She is desperate because she was don’t have that much information. Please help.

Sophia is a Brazilian Trans woman who comes from a very low background! As a human being she had a lot of dreams and hope to have a better life in this society

but unfortunately her nightmare start and Sophie was victim of Human trafficking from Brazil to Italy with a fake proposal. Arrived in Italy everything was different poor conditions of a house to live and being obligated to work on the street in cold nights as a sex worker. Somehow Sophie found away to escape and finding a hostel to stay after that she was seized by the police and was taken to an immigrant prison, spending days there without being able to communicate with anyone. after being able to contact LGBT Organization that gave her support of a lawyer so she could apply for political asylum.

unfortunately Sophie had to be admitted to hospital for tuberculosis and I believe that because Sophia is a carrier of the HIV virus she was in a very bad condition because she did not have access to care and medicines when she was trapped with the pimp.

Now Sophia is in a severe state of coma! And this was the only information I could get from the hospital in Italy but they said she doesn’t have much time and her mom needs to go to Italy to see her daughter and have a dignified farewell and be able to bury her daughter in peace with her mother who is suffering a lot with all this and with little information because she does not speak Italian and the Brazilian embassy is not providing support.

PLEASE HELP! Sophia was a very fun girl with a beautiful soul. One girl with a lot of dreams and wishes. She loved modeling and doing shootings she wanted have a career but everything was interrupted. Because we trans women who come from a place of prevarication have an extremely difficult life and expectations of life outside of the sex worker is practically impossible. Sophia unfortunately had all her dreams killed and her body exploited and so far from her family.
