Please Help Save Chaplin's Eye

Unforseen events happen to everyone, but this involves my 3 year old male cat Chaplin.
A few weeks ago I took him to Banfield clinic to get checked because he was having eye discharge on his left eye. The vet said he had pink eye and prescribed some medication. 2 weeks later his eye seems to have gotten worse. Took him to Aborn clinic for a second opinion and realized he has an ulcer in the eye that requires immediate surgery if not he will either go blind or loose the eye all together. They also believe that rough play with his little brother Toulouse made the eye worse.
Skip to today, I went and saw a pet eye specialist in Campbell who was wondeful enough for me to call her after hours and she took him in to assess the situation. Turns out he does have an ulcer and needs emergency surgery.
With that said, the surgery will cost $2,848.70 to perform which includes anesthetics, stay, fees and post care. I honestly do not have that money and have gotten another 2nd part time job to help with the cost.
I don't want my cat to suffer, his condition is very painful and he's been such a good boy with no complaints.
I am so grateful to have my boys (Chaplin and Toulouse) in my life for they give me such great joy.
I feel like a helpless mother who wishes she can do more. I also feel horrible like I could have prevented this and vets have told me I did the best I could but it still hurts me knowing Chaplin is hurting.
Creating this gofundme page was my last resort. I have exhausted all options a nd I am turning to you.... My friends, family, acquaintances for help. I'm pretty much feeling desperate for any amount that can be donated so I can get Chaplin the procedure he needs.
If you can kindly donate any amount it will help tremendously. This will all go toward his surgery non will go to my pocket. Bringing him to the shelter is not an option and i will do anything in my power to save his eye so he can continue to gaze out the window and watch the birds fly and squirrels run.
